Stitch Savvy works on alterations, remodelling, and upcycling for garments that deserve a second life. Each project starts with a careful review of the fabric, construction, and fit goals.

Remodelling garments with care

We help customers update clothing that no longer fits the way it should, feels dated, or carries meaning worth preserving. From redesign consultations to fit updates and fabric-reuse projects, every step is handled with clear communication.

For redesign work, we first assess the garment and discuss what is realistically possible before any quote or approval. That keeps the process practical, transparent, and aligned with the material on hand.

Our story

A workshop built on reuse

Built around thoughtful tailoring and garment remodelling, our workshop supports projects that need more than a basic alteration. We work with clothing that has history, character, and potential.

Founded by Lia Mendoza, Stitch Savvy began with a simple idea: well-loved clothing should not be wasted when it can be reshaped, repaired, or refreshed. That approach still guides how we review each project today.

Our process moves from inquiry and assessment to concept approval, remodelling, and final review. For redesign projects, supplementary materials are quoted separately and additional work is only done after approval.

We accept repair and redesign projects in Malolos City and welcome garments from customers who want a more considered, sustainable approach to clothing changes.

We begin with a garment and material assessment so the quote reflects the fabric, condition, construction, and requested fit. That helps set realistic expectations before work begins.

Reuse with purpose

Our focus is remodelling and upcycling, including dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, and fabric-reuse accessory projects that make better use of existing materials.

Approval first

Design approval comes before additional work, so the finished piece stays aligned with the agreed concept. If a garment needs a revised direction, we discuss it first.

Finish with guidance

We also provide care and pressing notes when relevant, so you know how to handle the finished garment after collection without guessing at the next step.
